Situated over one-mile underground in Sudbury, Ontario is a neutrino observatory that can see further into space than any telescope before it. Today for the first-time intelligent life from deep space will be detected by Jackson Curtis, one-mile underground and Tyrese Sims, the surface computer analyst and they will try to convince the world that this indeed has happened. Lisa Davenport, an astrobiologist, dampens their celebrations of finding intelligent life when she uncovers the true purpose of Earth's new visitors.
